A & B Logistics is owned solely by Cynthia Parnell Collier and has been in business since 1994. The company handles brokerage freight, surplus freight, seasonal fluctuations, capacity surges, challenging lanes, and other unexpected needs. Simply put, it’s the women-owned brokerage division located at Mister “P” Express. When was your business established:  2022

What inspired you to start this business?
I used to work for Indiana and Kentucky families through First Steps early intervention program. After noticing that many families were struggling to find therapy services for their children, I founded Small Talk Pediatric Therapy Clinic in 2022 to address the needs of the Southern Indiana community.

What’s your company’s mission statement:
Small Talk Pediatric Therapy Clinic is an outpatient facility that provides multidisciplinary therapy services to children from birth and beyond. We take a holistic approach to provide the highest quality of care in a friendly and compassionate clinic to improve daily function and quality of life for our patients and families. With our diverse team of specialists, we are uniquely able to provide therapy needs in-house to improve daily function and quality of life for our patients and families.

What inspired you to start this business?
I was extremely unhealthy growing up. I had chronic asthma and by the time I was 25, I had a pulmonary specialist. My breathing tube had become the diameter of a toothpick, a normal breathing tube is the diameter of a McDonald’s straw. I was on 3 inhalers and prednisone. My Mom said she spoiled us because she didn’t know how long we would live.
Yeah, Yoga was a life changer for our family. I have not seen a doctor since I gave birth 13 years ago.

If it could turn my life around 360 …I knew it could help everybody!

So here we are 23 years later trying to convince people that Yoga IS the answer…no matter what the question, Yoga.

What’s your company’s mission statement?
Our Mission is to facilitate an environment where all people, regardless of their circumstances can naturally become healthy on a physical, mental, and emotional level through the time-tested practice of Yoga.

Dr. Janeice Wooten-Kerr has been practicing dentistry for over 15 years. With the passion to empower patients, she provides insight into the importance of good oral hygiene, proper dental care in the home, and regular dental visits.
