STORAGE EXPRESS BUYS AGAIN IN NEW ALBANY, INDIANA

BLOOMINGTON, IN – Storage Express acquired Mt. Tabor Storage in New Albany, Indiana, a city of 45,000 people across the river from downtown Louisville, KY. The 370-unit facility marks the company’s fourth location in New Albany.

Hunter Sells of SkyView Advisors represented both Buyer and Seller in this transaction, which closed within 30 days of going under contract. This deal represented Hunter’s first closing at SkyView.

“At 40,000 SF, this two-year-old facility is in terrific shape. It presented a pick-up opportunity for us in the suburban Louisville market. This purchase brings us to a dozen locations in the metro 10-mile radius. We’ve just rebranded it to our portfolio standard. And we’ve already replaced the former office with our 24/7 Rental Center – and extended customer service hours,” added Shreve.

Convenience is key. “Customers can call, text, or jump online any hour to rent a unit, make a payment, or get answers,” added Shreve. “They can also manage their account at their fingertips — 24/7 and contact-free.”

Storage Express owns and operates 114 properties — most about the size of this one — across Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. The company has four expansions underway in Indiana. Rentals are centralized out of the company’s Indiana headquarters with their in- house customer care team — a component of the Storage Express hub-and-spoke remote management platform. Local Field Service Reps are on the road daily, keeping properties in tip- top shape.
