NEW ALBANY, IN — Floyd County Parks & Recreation has announced a series of five public meetings to provide residents with an opportunity to share their experiences and wishes for county parks. The goal is to obtain public input in advance of the creation of a Master Site Development Plan for the Sam Peden Community Park and the county’s new Regional Park facilities located adjacent to Novaparke, the County’s new Innovation and Technology Campus in Georgetown. The Sam Peden property also incorporates the North Annex property owned by the Floyd County Commissioners and the 4H Fairground property owned by the Commissioners and leased to the Floyd County 4H.
