Complete Metal Fabrication Approved for New Site Development
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. - (December 19, 2007) – One Southern Indiana officials are pleased to announce Complete Metal Fabrication’s plan to establish a brand new manufacturing facility at River Ridge Commerce Center in Clark County. At its board meeting on December 17, the River Ridge Development Authority approved the sale of 3.5 acres of park property to the company, which will begin construction in the spring and relocate to the new site by mid-summer of 2008. Complete Metal Fabrication was founded in 1997 and creates custom parts used by original equipment manufacturers in a variety of industries.
The company will invest $1.5 million in construction and design of its new facility, which is expected to exceed 22,000 square feet. This new space will be used for a variety of office, manufacturing, and warehouse purposes. Currently located in its original facility at Jeffersonville’s America Place, Complete Metal Fabrication officials will have more usable space at the new facility which will be more conducive to the company’s climate-sensitive production processes.
The new facility’s environment is expected to help support the retention of its current 26-person workforce, as well as any plans for the recruitment of additional qualified employees.
“With an amazing track record of significant growth in the last few years, Complete Metal Fabrication is poised to become one of Southern Indiana’s more prominent manufacturing employers,” said Michael Dalby, President and CEO of One Southern Indiana. “We look forward to witnessing their growth at River Ridge for many years to come and will help support their endeavors in any way we can.”
Through the utilization of several benefits of the Urban Enterprise Zone, Complete Metal Fabrication can leverage its start-up costs into maximum benefit for the company and the community.
