Member Breakfast a Huge Success

1.23.08 “Who says an orientation can’t be packed with fun and motivation?” says Stephanie Griffith with Strandz & Threads speaking of One Southern Indiana’s Member Orientation & Breakfast on January 23, 2008. “You have excellent sponsors and exhibitors, the food is great, lots of people, upbeat music and dynamic motivational speakers! Well done again, 1SI!”

Over 100 new members, guests, sponsors, and chamber leadership joined together for networking, breakfast, and an interactive presentation at the Calumet Club in downtown New Albany.  The agenda featured high-level connections made by 1SI’s Champion Connectors & Ambassadors, networking with exhibitors, breakfast catered by the delightful Main Street Café & Treats, and presentations on chamber tools offered to business professionals.

“1SI is like a toolbox,” declared Kyle Morey, VP of Membership & Strategic Alliances, the keynote speaker. “Lots of business growth tools available, but which one(s) will you use?” 

Chairman Kerry Stemler, KM Stemler Company, also addressed the new members sharing insights on the challenges and successes of regionalism and the local economy.  1SI’s CEO Michael Dalby encouraged new members to “get involved.” Committee Chairs Nancy Boman, Michelle, Sollberger, Chris Kanemitsu, Lin Schussler Williams as well as VP of Economic Development Matt Hall were among the speakers. Exhibitors included The Courier Journal, The Hartfield Company, Business Health Plus, One Vision Federal Credit Union, and InsightBusiness.
