Grants And Loans Available Through IDEM

Do you know that reducing your waste stream can add dollars to your bottom line and improve your corporate image? Businesses, individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, educational institutions and other private sector groups may apply for low-interest loans and grant money to implement recycling and for recycling market research and development.

Money is available through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s Indiana Recycling Market Development Program. (Visit www.recycle.IN.gov on the Web.)

The Program promotes, funds, and encourages waste reduction, reuse, and recycling in Indiana. Money for the grants and loans comes from a portion of Indiana’s solid waste management fund. Recipients must supply matching funds.

The Indiana Recycling Market Development Program also has grant money available to assist you with contracting a waste assessment, marketing a recycled product, researching and demonstrating products or processes that reduce waste, and even zero percent interest loans for purchasing equipment.
