Our programs include breakfast networking for early birds and evening sessions for members who prefer not to wake up quite so early. Get ready to network!

12 @ 12

The 12 @ 12 is an opportunity for invited members to have lunch with the 1si CEO and president. It is an exchange of ideas focusing on the benefits of membership as well as any topic members feel 1si should address.

Advocacy Forums

Advocacy Forums are hosted by One Southern Indiana along with partner organizations, bringing authoritative speakers before an audience of business and government leaders to discuss the needs of the community. The Advocacy Forums regularly attract 75-100 attendees.

Ambassadors Program

The 1si Ambassador program affords the participants the opportunity to act as the front line representatives for 1si at public and chamber sponsored events/activities. Ambassadors assist in the promotion, volunteer support and development of various chamber sponsored events. As an Ambassador, volunteers reach out to welcome new members as well as check up on current members through visits and phone calls, allowing them to meet a variety of people.

CEO Roundtables

A confidential forum where CEOs can share experiences and seek advice on the unique challenges of being a CEO.  This is an opportunity to bond with fellow CEOs, to share ideas, and hear from invited subject matter experts on a variety of specialized topics.

Chairman's Advisory Council

The Chairman’s Advisory Council launched in 2013 and consists of a series of quarterly events designed to bring together 1si’s Champion, Lead and Advocacy Investors, as well as the organization’s president and CEO, chairman and chairman-elect.  The purpose is to give these investors a deeper understanding of economic development efforts at 1si.

Future Leaders Advisory Group (FLAG)

Young professionals are the future of our community.  This program supports young professionals who work within the 1si membership. Created to help future leaders become more actively engaged, this program provides a voice for young leaders while offering the millennial generation opportunities to interact with one another, gain professional development, receive feedback, acquire insight and procure the tools to succeed in their respective careers and community roles. Along with free quarterly roundtable and speaker series, e-newsletter, and endorsed 1si events, FLAG offers young 1si members the chance to be mentored by seasoned professionals through a formal program.

Price: Free for 1si members and $25 for general admission to each session.

Leads Groups

There are currently three Leads groups with the sole purpose of gathering together, making connections and sharing referrals or leads.   Only allowing one member from each industry designation, the goal of each member is to generate and share qualified leads. These meetings will help you understand other members better and with whom they are looking to do business.

The Mentoring Program

The Mentoring Program is a distinctive, structured, but informal, opportunity that partners young professionals within 1si with seasoned business professionals based on a variety of characteristics. Mentees benefit from experienced, professional advice and have the foundation for a lasting relationship with a business leader. Mentors enhance the Southern Indiana professional community by serving as role models, coaches and advisers to our local talent as they consider how best to apply and advance their professional and personal goals.

Metro Manufacturing Alliance

With more than 65 members participating, the Metro Manufacturing Alliance (MMA) is a unique membership group designed by manufacturers for manufactures. Manufacturing managers from the region have the opportunity to meet monthly with their peers to discuss a variety of topics, specifically of interest to the industry.  In addition, the MMA hosts a number of round tables for individuals in manufacturing with specific job responsibilities such as the MMA CFO Roundtable, the MMA Human Resources Roundtable and others.

Non-profit Round table
