Committees and Advisory Councils

Get involved. Give back. Make a difference.

All members of 1si, recent or long-established, have the opportunity to get involved and make a difference in our organization and our community. Whether it is being an Ambassador, advocating for business, developing business programs or guiding economic development in Southern Indiana, we welcome and encourage member involvement.

For more information on our committees and advisory counsels, email Connie Mudd.

The ACE Awards Ceremony celebrates outstanding individuals who lead our business community.  This is a sister event of the ONE Awards but with a flair all its own. Members of this committee create, plan and execute this Academy Awards-styled daytime event. Committee meetings occur monthly from June – November.

The Economic Development Council is one of our most prestigious committees. Members provide strategic direction to 1si’s economic development activities, including new business attraction, advocacy, business retention and expansion, transportation, quality of life and recruitment of talent. Places on this Committee are restricted to proven investors.
